Britney Spears Supports Black Lives Matter Movement, Gets Mixed Reactions
Britney Spears is getting mixed reactions for her support of Black Lives Matter.
The Oops! I Did It Again singer shared a post earlier this week of a man holding a sign that reads,
“White people have general wealth. Black people have generational trama.”
She added the caption,
“Just sayin’… #BlackLivesMatter #BLM”

She received mixed reactions from fans in the comment section.

This post comes just a couple of months after actor and dancer Columbus Short accused Britney Spears‘ parents of calling him the N-word after he and Spears had a fling in 2003. He alleged he overheard Spears in tears on the phone with her parents as they allegedly asked,
“Why are you f***ing that n****er?”
He said,
“I wasn’t shocked when it happened. Look where they’re from … they’re from Louisiana. The way it came out was so effortless, like that’s how they speak.”
Columbus Short also went on to speculate regarding the nature of his and Britney’s fling:
“After that I felt like maybe [Britney] was using me to piss them off for some reason. I think she is a really sweet person that was tormented in a position on a high level that I can’t imagine.”
Short did not specify which of Spears’ parents made the racial slur, but her mother denied using such language in an interview with Page Six. A source close to her father also denied the allegation.
