Tiffany Haddish Preparing To Adopt After Selling ‘A Bunch Of Eggs’ At 21: I Don’t Wanna Pay Nobody To Carry My Baby
Comedic actress and tv host Tiffany Haddish recently opened up in an interview on E!’s Daily Pop about her plans to start a family. On Monday [May 3rd], the Kids Say the Darndest Things host, was candid about taking steps in the near future to expand her family. She revealed she’s currently enrolled in parenting classes as the first step in the adoption process.
“I’m taking parenting classes now to adopt. I’m looking at, you know, five and up, really like seven.”
Tiffany Haddish continued to say:
“I want them to be able to know how to use the restroom on their own and talk. I want them to know that I put in the work and I wanted them.”
In the interview, she explained why surrogacy isn’t the right choice for her:
” I don’t wanna pay nobody to carry my baby neither, ’cause then I’d have to go through a process of giving myself injections and all that stuff.”
The comedian revealed that in an effort to financially support herself at 21, she had to give up a lot of her eggs. That choice has also impacted her decision from going the surrogacy route.
“I already gave up – here goes something everybody don’t know, I’m gonna tell you – When I was 21 I was really hard up for some money and I gave up a bunch of eggs.”
