Lil Wayne Denies Rumors He’s Married

Lil Wayne has broken his silence on speculation that he’s married, and it turns out he’s not.

The rapper went live with Nicki Minaj on Instagram last night (July 8th), and Nicki Minaj mentioned rumors that he tied the knot with his girlfriend Denise Bidot.

Back in April, Lil Wayne sparked reports that he and Denise Bidot got married when he shared a cryptic tweet.

He wrote,

“Happiest man alive! Today is the beginning of our forever. Forever!! Forever, ever?? FOREVER EVER!!!!! The Carters.”

Nicki Minaj asked Lil Wayne about it and said,

“The other day it was some tweets going on, and I was like, ‘Oh, what’s going on?’ and I texted you and I was like, ‘Oh, Congratulations. I can tell you’ve been in a good mood’. And I said, ‘Congratulations,’ because I thought you had gotten married.”

Lil Wayne clarified,

“I’m so glad you asked me that. I did not get married. I said ‘The Carters,’ and girl, that’s my d*** sons, that’s my sons’ little name of their little group.”

Lil Wayne and Denise Bidot went public with their relationship last June.
