Lamar Odom Claims His Exchange With Tristan Thompson ‘Could’ve Really Turned Ugly’ + Says He’d Get Back W/ Khloé Kardashian ‘In A Heartbeat’

Lamar Odom may have kept things civil, but he’s still letting Tristan Thompson know that the results could’ve been very different!

As previously reported, Lamar Odom and Tristan Thompson recently got into it in Khloé Kardashian‘s comment section. Both men gushed over a photo uploaded by Khloé Kardashian, who was involved with both men at different points in the past. In response to Lamar Odom‘s “Hottie” comment, Tristan Thompson responded:

“@lamarodom God brought you back the first time. Play if you want, different results [insert shrugging emojis].”

It appears as though Tristan Thompson was referencing Lamar Odom‘s 2015 near-death experience, which allegedly resulted from a cocaine overdose.

After the incident, an insider told TMZ that Lamar Odom meant no disrespect to Tristan Thompson with his comment.

Now, Lamar Odom is speaking on the situation himself–and claiming that it could’ve gotten bad for Tristan! While on The Megan Pormer Show, Lamar claimed:

“[Tristan] don’t really know me… what did Jesus say–‘God forgive them for they do not know’, right? So he don’t really know me, but that could’ve really turned ugly.”

He continued, claiming their shared identities of being Black men with NBA experience helped him stay civil:

“He’s a Black man, he’s in the NBA, so we’re fraternity brothers at the end of the day. I’ll just leave it there–[but] he made a mistake by saying that… I wish him the best.”

Meanwhile, he’s making sure there is no mystery that he wants his ex-wife back. He and Khloé Kardashian were married from 2009-2016. He said,

 “I had everything I wanted, as far as where a woman is concerned.”

When asked if he would get back with the reality star he said,

“Oh in a heartbeat. I mean yeah I would… We’ll see if she gets back with me, that’s the bigger question.”

He added that he “loves” her and warned that there might be men who want to date her because of her fame.
