Kanye West & Irina Shayk Reportedly Very Much A Couple Despite ‘Cooling Off’ Rumors

Kanye West and Irina Shayk are said to be still going strong despite recent reports that they were “cooling off.”

As reported earlier this week, an insider alleged that she declined the rapper’s offer to go to Paris Fashion Week because she didn’t want to fuel dating rumors.

“She likes him as a friend, but doesn’t want a relationship with him. She doesn’t want the association that they are dating, which is what would have run in the press if she showed up [to Paris Fashion Week with him]. It would have been another month of news saying that they are dating.”

Interestingly enough, speculation that they are together seemed to be confirmed when they were spotted in Paris celebrating his birthday last month. But the source also said,

“She went to his birthday party as a friend. There were 50 other people there. She doesn’t want to be linked with anyone right now. She is happy being single.”

Still, according to TMZ, the two are very much still an item.

Insiders close to the alleged couple said they’re still spending time together and even hung out in San Francisco 4th of July weekend. They ate together at high-end restaurant Mourad before Kanye West left for the Balenciaga show for Paris Fashion Week. While there were reports that Irina Shayk didn’t want to go with him, different sources say Kanye West didn’t extend an invite because he was in Paris less than 24 hours.

Kanye is still in the middle of a divorce with Kim Kardashian West, who filed back in February.
