Ice-T Defends Wife Coco’s Decision To Breastfeed Their 5-Year-Old Daughter: Why Are You Worried About MY Child? That’s Weird

Ice-T is unbothered by the criticism his family receives over his wife, Coco Austin, breastfeeding their five-year-old daughter Chanel. 

The couple received lots of support and criticism after Coco Austin opened up about breastfeeding their child. She told Us Weekly earlier this week,

“Chanel still likes my boob. It’s a big bonding moment for a mother and your child.”

She added that while Chanel will “eat steak and hamburgers,” she also “likes a little snack every now and then.”

She continued,

“Why take that away from her? … If she doesn’t want it, all right, that’s where you stop it. But I’m not just going to say no.”

Now, Ice-T has hopped on Twitter to stand by his wife of 15 years.

He first shared a quote about jealousy.

It’s not clear if he was referencing critics of his wife’s choice, but he did reply to a fan who said they weren’t jealous of the child breastfeeding. He wrote,

He went on to respond to a Twitter user who called him out for the “gross” tweet and said a five-year-old shouldn’t be breastfeeding. The Law & Order: SVU star replied,

“Why the F are you worried about MY Child??? That’s what’s weird.. Now go back in the basement.”

He then wrote,

“News Flash! I’m still Breastfeeding! Every chance I can….[diamond Emoji]”

He followed it up with another PSA that included a photo of Coco Austin and their child and added,

“News Flash! We feed Chanel FOOD… She just likes to suck moms boob every now and then… Me Too!!!”
