Diddy Says He Had A Rough F***ing Week: I Battled A Little State Of Depression

Music Mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs has been vocal about his battle with mental health and how important it is.  On Friday (August 27th), Diddy spoke candidly about him still struggling with depression. He said on social media,

“It is Friday and I can’t lie, I had a rough f***ing week.  I ain’t gonna lie.  I went into a dark state, which is a little state of depression; like how could you be depressed and I you got so much s**t.  I don’t know how that s**t works.  I just kept fighting and start asking God to help me.  I kept praying to God and God helped me.  I kept breathing.  You gotta fight your way out and I did thanks to the glory of God.  I let God and I let go.”

This isn’t the first time Diddy has publicly expressed his struggles with depression.  In 2020, he admitted that the previous year he battled depression. At the time, he said:

“2019 was a crazy year.  It was a great year for some of us and for some of us that s**t was really hard.  It was a hard year.  I want to tell everybody that went through the shift and had a hard year and dealt or is dealing with heartbreak or loss or just not knowing where they are going; or depression, the energy was real heavy out there.  I even got effected.  2019 was the year I honestly felt like I wanted to give up.”

He continued saying,

“There is this thing that God is not going to put nothing on you that you can’t bare.  For a whole year, I would have to say I went through a real dark state of depression.  I’m telling y’all this because I had so many people to help me, to help lift me up.  It’s just that word.  There are so many people who are dealing with depression.  Nobody is immune to it, no matter how much money you have, how much success you have, depression is at an all time high.  Even I have experienced this year.”

He left some encouraging words before 2020.

“I just really wanted to say before we go into 2020, we need each other.  We gotta lift each other up.  Any time you see somebody in they feeling down, lift them up.  Tonight for New Years, lift them up.  We gotta all do our part because we all gonna have some good years and some bad years, but I’m ready for 2020.”

In other Diddy news, he recently made headlines for criticizing expensive designer watch brand,  Richard Millie.  He told social media users:

“The Richard Mille is like a TimeEx or some s*** like that, you know what I’m saying? It’s not hot, its not hot, its not hot! I have like two or three, I never pull them out, they ugly! I don’t even want to hate, I don’t even know Richard Mille. But f*** it, I want some black s***.  Black men save your money and go buy a house.”

He continued,

“Everybody pipe down, it’s my opinion. I love fly s***, it’s my opinion. It’s just like someone could be like yo they like the Rolls-Royce Phantom over the Bentley Mulsanne. I personally would take the Mulsanne, many of y’all may not take that. So it’s like live your life and understand, I said what the f*** I said! Get some property black man and woman. Yeah! We know what to do. I tricked but I got some property.”
