Jay-Z‘s 40/40 Club just embarked on its 18th year, and he celebrated with a lavish event!
Over the weekend, Jay-Z (real name Shawn Carter) celebrated the 18th anniversary of his sports bar, 40/40 Club. The Manhattan-based establishment is a popular celebrity hotspot, and it reopened earlier this month.

Various celebrities showed up at 40/40 Club’s anniversary event. Musicians like Lil Uzi Vert, Dave East, Vic Mensa, J Balvin, Meek Mill, Kalan.FrFr, Fabolous, and Remy Ma notably attended the festivity. Additionally, various athletes and sports commentators such as Victor Cruz, Dez Bryant, Van Jones, Immanuel Quickley, and Rudy Gay were there too.

Other notable stars like Beyoncé, Megan Thee Stallion, Pardison Fontaine, JT of City Girls, Snoh Aalegera, and Bobby Shmurda were in attendance as well. It is also worth noting that Beyoncé attended the event in a little black dress with pink satin accessories and emerald jewelry.
News of the 40/40 Club’s anniversary party comes shortly after Jay-Z and Beyoncé faced criticism over their recent advertisement for Tiffany & Co. Last week, the couple appeared alongside a never-before-seen Jean-Michel Basquiat painting for the ad, prompting backlash from various individuals. On top of this criticism, Beyoncé also faced backlash for wearing the famed Tiffany Yellow Diamond, which is commonly referred to as a “blood diamond” due to it being acquired via colonization.
