Sunny Hostin & Ana Navarro Test Positive For COVID-19, Asked To Leave ‘The View’ Set On Live TV Just Moments Before VP Kamala Harris’ Appearance

Just moments before Vice President Kamala Harris was expected to sit down with the ladies of The View, two of the co-hosts were asked to leave the stage.

In a clip of today’s episode (Friday, Sept. 24), an off-camera individual asks Sunny Hostin and Ana Navarro to “step off for a second.”

He and Joy Behar said details on why would be provided shortly after, and Joy Behar attempted to keep going and introduce Kamala Harris.

After an awkward moment of what to do next, Joy Behar explained,

“Since this is gonna be a major news story any minute now, what happened is that Sunny and Ana both apparently tested positive for COVID. No matter how hard we try, these things happen. They have a breakthrough case and they’ll be okay I’m sure because they’re both vaccinated up the wazoo, a lot of vaccines.”

Sadly, Sunny Hostin’s parental in-laws passed away from COVID-19 last year.
