Wendy Williams Reportedly ‘Over’ Talk Show: ‘There’s No Announcement On The Show’s Future’
Is Wendy Williams ready to put away her purple chair?
Wendy Williams may be ready to leave her talk show behind. Just a few days after the long-running talk show host announced her return, it was shared today(9/30), that show would be postponed for a second time due to
‘ongoing health issues.’

Following the announcement, a source close to The Wendy Williams Show alleged that this could be the end of the show.

The source said,
“It was two years ago- in 2019- when they announced that Wendy was renewed for this season, and here we are about to be at the start of it and yet there is no announcement on the show’s future beyond this season.”

They added,
“Normally they would have made an announcement long ago saying ‘Hey guys, we’re going to the year 2025.’”
Earlier this month, it was reported that Williams had tested positive for COVID-19 and was also admitted for physiatric evaluation. Another source close to the show alleged that Wendy Williams was drinking excessively and that staff was enabling the behavior. They added,
“Everyone is an enabler because they don’t want to lose their job. They see it, they know it, they smelled the liquor. Her staffers are worried but no one is ever going to speak up because they don’t want to lose their jobs.”

The source continued:
“She’s an alcoholic. A bad one. She doesn’t need a talk show, she needs help.”
On Sept. 24th, 2021, Williams was reportedly back at home and recovering.
