Chrissy Teigen Hopes For ‘Closure’ As She & John Legend Hold Memorial For Late Son Jack
Chrissy Teigen and John Legend continue to mourn the loss of their son Jack a year after his passing.
Chrissy Teigen shared with fans this time last year that she lost Jack after having to give birth at 20 weeks pregnant.

Since then, she has openly shared her process of mourning, grief, and healing with fans.
Last month, she told fans she hadn’t “fully processed” the loss. She wrote on Instagram,
“I’m slightly down lately. It kind of started when I was thinking of my book caption and typed out ‘my third baby is here!!’, as in cookbook, then realized my third baby will never be here. Then I realized I threw myself into the book to not think of the real, actual third baby. I don’t really feel like I fully processed Jack and now that I don’t have the alcohol to numb it away, things are just… there, waiting to be acknowledged. I guess what I’m saying here is life is so f***ing complicated.”

Yesterday (Sept. 30), she shared that she and John Legend had a memorial service to remember Jack. She captioned a family photo,
“took me a year but finally honored his little spirit with some blessings today. hopefully some closure in my heart will happen now thank you guys for the kind words. It’s a process. Xx”

She and John Legend were joined by their two children, Luna, 5, and Miles, 3.
Continued prayers for Chrissy Teigen, John Legend & their family as they navigate through this time.
