Letitia Wright Denies Making Anti-Vaccine Comments On Set Of ‘Black Panther 2’
Guyanese-British actress Letitia Wright is breaking her silence and setting the record straight on anti-vaccine speculations. As previously reported, earlier this month rumors surfaced that Letitia Wright, 27, was spreading anti-vaccine views on the set of ‘Black Panther 2,’ which is set to release in July 2022. On Wednesday (Oct. 13) Letitia Wright responded to a recent article claiming she’s sharing misinformation about the COVID vaccine to her cast and crew members. In part, she wrote,
“It saddens me to have to address the reports published by ‘The Hollywood Reporter’ on October 6th 2021. The report spoke about my conduct on the set of ‘Black Panther 2’. I honestly assert that this was completely untrue.”
She added,
“Anyone who knows me or has worked with me, knows that I work incredibly hard at my craft & my main focus is always to do work that’s impactful and inspiring. That has been & will continue to be my only focus.”

Last December Wright faced backlash for sharing a controversial COVID vaccine video online. She posted a now-deleted video to her Twitter account from the Youtube channel ‘On The Table.’ In the hour-long video, a man is giving his opinion on why people should not take the COVID-19 vaccination shot. The video has since been removed from YouTube. After receiving criticism for sharing the content, Wright explained in a Tweet why she posted the video to her Twitter account. She wrote,
“my intention was not to hurt anyone, my ONLY intention of posting the video was it raised my concerns with what the vaccine contains and what we are putting in our bodies. Nothing else.”
