NBA Star Kawhi Leonard Releases Album He Executively Produced, Features Rappers Like Lil Uzi Vert & NBA YoungBoy
Kawhi Leonard has made his debut as an album producer!
Last night (Thursday, Oct. 21st), the album NBA star Kawhi Leonard produced–Kawhi Leonard Presents: Culture Jam Vol. 1 (Part 1)–was released to the world.

The announcement came from the Culture Jam music collective’s official social media accounts shortly before the album dropped. The uploads also revealed which artists would be featured on the collaborative album–such as NBA YoungBoy, Gunna, Lil Uzi Vert, and NLE Choppa.

Kawhi Leonard, who currently plays for the Los Angeles Clippers, initially revealed he was working on producing an album earlier this year. Back in May, the NBA athlete reportedly said he would release an album sometime in 2021, explaining the venture was centered on
“merging hip-hop and basketball together.”
You can listen to one of the tracks of the album–“Everything Different”, which was originally released five months ago–down below:
It’s also worth noting that the debut of Kawhi Leonard Presents: Culture Jam Vol. 1 comes shortly after the athlete appeared in a high-profile artist’s music video. Last month, Drake‘s highly-anticipated Certified Lover Boy album was released. One of the lead tracks, “Way 2 Sexy”, was accompanied by a humorous music video, and–at one point–Kawhi Leonard makes a cameo appearance!
Kawhi Leonard, who is inactive on social media, has not publicly spoken about making his debut as a music producer.
