Candiace Dillard Shuts Down Rumors She Got Into A Fist Fight W/ Nicki Minaj At ‘RHOP’ Reunion: Where On God’s Green Earth?

Candiace Dillard is setting the record straight about her experience with Nicki Minaj at the recently-taped RHOP reunion!

As previously reported, Nicki Minaj helped host part of The Real Housewives of Potomac‘s season six reunion earlier this month. She and longtime host Andy Cohen both uploaded photos with each other to mark the occasion.

Just a few days after guest hosting, Nicki Minaj dished on the experience via Instagram Live. At one point, the “Barbie Tingz” rapper revealed:

“I saw something that said I went hard on Candiace. [But] I think I went hard on everybody equally. They’re tough girls on that show–I normally know who I can be like that with, and I could tell that they were tough enough to allow me to be tough with them. So I think I kinda went for the jugular with everyone. Not in a bad way–not in a mean way–just in a way that I was like ‘Y’all, if I go back without asking the real s**t that my fans wanna know, they’re gonna look at me like I’m crazy’… So, I had to get into some things!”

Candiace Dillard also spoke on her recent experience at the reunion, notably proclaiming:

“Nicki has changed my life, okay. The queen has changed my life!… It was an epic moment, it was really crazy. So much fun–really exciting. The best reunion–not even just Nicki coming, it was a good reunion. You know, we fussed and cussed and carried on. Some interesting stuff–some interesting interactions.”

Despite Candiace Dillard‘s positive comments about the RHOP reunion, rumors spread about her and Nicki Minaj getting into a physical altercation when they met! However, the reality star recently shut down this narrative, saying:

“There are rumors that Nicki and I got into a fist fight. Where? Where on God’s green Earth? I’m flabbergasted that people are making up these rumors.”

Candiace proceeded to speak on the experience of having Nicki as a guest host:

“She definitely came hard for everyone. I will say, I thought she was going to be really hard on me because of the way she was kind of talking on social media, so I was prepared! But when she came in, she didn’t start with me so I kind of got to see what she was going to give. And I said ‘Okay, this is about to be a fun match.'”

She then remarked:

“I was enamored. She was so involved in every aspect of our show. She knew details from season one, nuances that the biggest superfans don’t know–she was invested. It was riveting.”
