Jay-Z Officially Joins Instagram, Gains Close To 2 Million Followers In Under 24 Hours
Jay-Z fans can now keep up with the multi-Grammy-Award-winning artist on Instagram!
Yesterday evening (November 2nd) rap icon Jay-Z, born Shawn Carter, seemingly shocked the world by officially creating an Instagram account. The 51-year-old businessman is known for being a private person and not giving too many details into his personal life. However, he may be ready to share a little more about his world via his new social media account. Even though the account has been active for less than 24 hours so far, Jay-Z has already amassed close to 2 million followers.

He has shared his very first image to his IG, which is the movie poster for the recently released Netflix film ‘The Harder They Fall.’ Jay-Z is a producer of the film. He also shared a countdown for the film’s release, which was today (Nov. 3), via his IG stories.

The ‘Hovi Baby’ rapper follows just one person, his wife Beyoncé, 40. Jay-Z has also achieved the goal of many people and has received a follow back from Beyoncé, who previously wasn’t following anyone on the picture-sharing app.
