Trey Songz Under Investigation In Las Vegas Over Sexual Assault Claims
Trey Songz has once again been accused of sexual misconduct.
Yesterday (Monday, Nov. 29th), news broke that Trey Songz (real name Tremaine Neverson) is being investigated over sexual assault allegations in Nevada. According to Las Vegas authorities, a report about the matter was made this past Sunday (Nov. 28th), and the alleged assault supposedly went down at The Cosmopolitan hotel.
Specifically, Trey Songz and his entourage were in Las Vegas this past weekend to celebrate the R&B singer’s 37th birthday. The alleged assault is reported to have occurred after the group brought numerous women back to the hotel after a night of partying at Drai’s Beachclub & Nightclub.
Law enforcement officials claim that Trey Songz has been fully cooperative in the investigation so far, and no arrests have been made over the matter.
Trey Songz has not publicly commented on the situation via his social media accounts.
This matter notably comes almost eight months after the “Neighbors Know My Name” singer reached a settlement with another woman who accused him of sexual assault. Allegedly, Trey Songz violated the woman at a Miami nightclub after initially meeting at a party, and she ultimately sued him for $10 million in damages. While the pair reached a settlement in court, it’s still unclear exactly how much money Trey Songz had to pay the alleged victim.
