Issa Rae Is In Tears, As She Says Goodbye To “Insecure” In New Documentary
All good things must come to an end. Just ask Issa Rae, who is saying goodbye to her hit HBO series “Insecure”. The creator and executive producer of the show announced that the final season will wrap with a new documentary special, airing on December 26th.
In the trailer, Issa Rae becomes overwhelmed with emotion as she reflects on the series journey and it’s end.

Insecure is a comedy-drama television series created by Issa Rae and Larry Wilmore, and is partially based on Rae’s acclaimed web series Awkward Black Girl. The series is about the awkward experiences of a contemporary African-American woman. The series premiered online on September 23, 2016, via HBO Now and HBO Go, before airing weekly on HBO from October 9, 2016.The fifth and final season premiered on October 24, 2021.
