Gunna Blushes As He Addresses Chlöe Bailey Dating Rumors: We’re Really Close Friends
Gunna’s reaction to hearing Chlöe Bailey’s name seemingly confirms their rumored relationship.
Rapper Gunna sat down with The Breakfast Club to discuss his recent release–and Chlöe Bailey. Morning show host Charlamagne “Tha God” couldn’t let him exit the studio without asking him about his new track “Die Alone.”

The song, which features R&B singer Chris Brown and rap-singer Yung Bleu, repeats the lyrics “I don’t wanna die alone” and references a love interest. Of course, Charlamagne wanted to know who the special lady indirectly mentioned in the song was.
Gunna first explained the full meaning behind the song:
“I had been kinda to myself when I made that song. It’s a self-explanatory song, like, ‘I don’t wanna die alone,’ I really wanna be with someone before it’s all over. And that’s kind like, the thing I’m pushin’.”
The hosts asked him if he was suggesting marriage and children. He replied:
“That’s P. I’m becoming ready [for a family]. I’m growing into being ready because I understand, like, have a girlfriend and having a wife, like, you gotta have stability. You know what I’m sayin’? But when it’s time. So, I think I’m getting there.”
Angela Yee asked Gunna if he thought he could be with one woman for the rest of his life. He answered:
“I can, just not right now. Not today, not this moment right now.”
They brought up singer-actress Chlöe Bailey and questioned the rumors between them. Multiple people have suggested that the two are either dating or related. He stated:
“We ain’t cousins…we’re really close friends.”
Gunna also spoke about their duet “You & Me,” his plans to share the stage with her for a big performance, and how he was “shooting his shot” when he made a comment about her tongue at the VMAs.

As he spoke about her, his face lit up, and the hosts pointed out how he was blushing profusely. Embarrassed, Gunna repeatedly said:
“Stop! Stop it!”
After the shoutout, the two were seen together at an Atlanta Hawks game back in Oct. Gunna said that he wanted to make the outing special.
“I wanted to take her somewhere cool, you know what I mean? Not just out to the studio.”

Charlamagne ended their conversation about Chlöe by saying:
“You know what I want you to do, Gunna? I want you to really think about the people you’re around that make your energy go up, and the people you’re around that make your energy go down. Cause every time you talk about Chlöe, you get to smiling, your feet get to shuffling. That’s good, man!”
Laughing and shaking his head, Gunna jokingly said:
“He got too much wit him.”
