New details are surfacing not only about Adele’s postponed Las Vegas residency controversy, but also about her relationship to boyfriend Rich Paul. According to reports, the 33-year-old singer may be having some relationship issues with her 40-year-old sports agent boyfriend.

The pair have been reportedly dating for 6 months.

A source tells Page Six that while preparing for her residency,

“Just constantly on the phone with Rich … loudly shouting and sobbing. She has barely rehearsed because she is constantly in the middle of an emotional shootout.”

Journalist Scott Roeben tells the outlet that Vegas insiders are now worried that Adele will cancel the concerts for good.

“There are rumblings that there are stresses related to Adele’s relationship. I’m told that these stresses caused her to be in a place where she was just not confident moving forward. You can’t focus if you’re not where you need to be in your head.”

Another source says:

“Rich works with guys like LeBron James, who pride themselves on being honest and respectful. He’s a good guy, but I honestly don’t know if he’s the settling down type.”

Rich Paul is Adele’s first public relationship since her divorce from Simon Konecki. They divorced last March and share a son Angelo, 9.
