It looks like our girl Rihanna, 34, is under a lot of stress!
Reportedly, the singer–turned entrepreneur was left distraught and was ‘forced to cancel her baby shower’ after A$AP Rocky, 33, was arrested on Wednesday (Apr.20) in connection with a November 2021 shooting in Hollywood. The pair had just returned to L.A. after a relaxing vacation in Rihanna’s native country Barbados. Upon arrival at LAX, A$AP Rocky was reportedly met by police officers at the terminal and taken away in handcuffs.

Now, sources say Rihanna is stressed out about the incident and sadly had to cancel her baby shower. A source claims,
“Rihanna was there when Rocky was arrested and has been crying non-stop. She’s heavily pregnant and these are very serious accusations, it’s a nightmare scenario for her…It was meant to be Rihanna’s baby shower in LA on Wednesday night but they had to cancel.”
The source continued,
“Rihanna was very, very upset and stressed by Rocky’s arrest It’s not the best time for her to be on such an emotional rollercoaster.”
On Wednesday, A$AP Rocky was booked into jail at 12:42 p.m. and later posted his $550,000 bail. The rapper was released from a Los Angeles jail just hours after he was arrested at LAX for allegedly shooting an acquaintance after an argument in Hollywood last year. Police arrested Rocky on charges of assault with a deadly weapon.
According to police reports, the soon-to-be father had been under investigation by the Los Angeles Police Department for a Nov. 6 shooting near Vista Del Mar and Selma Ave. in California. The shooting victim, who survived, later told police that A$AP Rocky allegedly approached him with a handgun. The victim claimed the rapper shot at him three to four times and believed one of the bullets grazed his left hand. Surprisingly, the shooting had not yet been reported to the media.
If convicted, A$AP Rocky could face up to one year in jail, a $1,000 fine and misdemeanor probation, per California Penal Code. If he receives a felony assault with a deadly weapon conviction, he could spend up to four years in state prison, be fined up to $10,000 and have mandatory probation. The “Praise The Lord” rapper has a court date set for Aug. 17.
As previously reported, Rihanna and A$AP Rocky, made headlines in January after revealing they are expecting their first child together. They were first reported to be dating in December 2020, however, they are longtime friends.
