Megan Thee Stallion Shares Details Of Alleged Shooting Involving Tory Lanez: He Shot A Couple Of Times, I Was So Scared
Rap artist Megan Thee Stallion is clearing the air about the car shooting that left her foot injured.
Megan Thee Stallion, 27, alleges Canadian rapper Tory Lanez shot her in the foot following an argument at a house party in July of 2020. Tory Lanez, 29, has vehemently denied being responsible. While sitting down for a CBS Morning special with host Gayle King, the musician discussed what events led to the shooting and how it has emotionally effected her. As previously reported, Megan Thee Stallion confirmed that an argument did in fact spark the situation stating:
“It was an argument because I was ready to go and everybody else wasn’t ready to go. But that’s, like, normal friend stuff,”
She continued:
“I never raised my voice too loud. Like, this was one of them times where it was, like, it shouldn’t have got this crazy.”
Previously, media reports suggested an explosive altercation between Megan and her close friend Kelsey Nicole happened prior to the shooting. Rumors circulated that Tory Lanez was outed for being romantically involved with the two women. Though Tory himself confirmed this specific detail in a twitter post, Megan has denied this to be the reason for the shooting.
Another previous report alleged that Tory Lanez stated “Dance b***ch” before aiming the gun at the “Plan B” artist. In the interview clip, Megan becomes emotional while describing the moment stating:
“All I hear is this man screaming. And he said, ‘Dance, b****h.’ And he started shooting. And I’m just like, ‘Oh, my God.’ Like, he shot a couple of times. And I was so scared”

The grammy award winning artist goes on to describe details of the shooting stating:
“He is standing up over the window shooting. And I didn’t even want to move. I didn’t want to move too quick… If I take the wrong step, I don’t know if he’s gonna shoot something that’s, like, super important.”
Explaining how she feared she’d be fatally shot in the moment, Megan tearfully continued. She stated:
“I don’t know if he could shoot me and kill me… I was really scared ’cause I had never been shot at before.”

An official court date is set for September of this year.
Megan’s special with Gayle King is set to air on CBS Monday, April 25th.
