T-Pain Celebrates Buying His Own Restaurant: Got My Keys Today & I’m Scared As Sh*t

T-Pain is the latest celebrity to throw his hat into the restaurant business.

Yesterday (May 8) T-Pain, born Faheem Najm, revealed that he is now officially a part of the food industry. The 37-year-old musician was all smiles in the picture he shared online of himself holding the keys to his new establishment. He captioned the moving post,

“I DID IT BOIS!!!! I’m officially a restaurant owner. Got my keys today and I’m scared as sh*t. BUT! I can no longer ignore the paths God has set for me just because I don’t understand or I’m scared.”

He continued,

“I’ve learned that if I’m not afraid, that means I’m in my comfort zone, that may be what some ppl want but as comfortable as it is in there, it also gets fuggen BORING!!!

In this new chapter of my life I’m taking the leap on anything I truly love and believe in. I’m fully in control and don’t have to ask for permission to believe in myself anymore.”

He added,

“Let this be a sign to GO DO THE THING!! If you’re not afraid, you’re too comfortable.”

Despite this being a new business venture for T-Pain, it seems like the “I’m Sprung” rapper isn’t a complete stranger to the restaurant world. In a separate post, he thanked his parents and shared a throwback picture of them standing in front of the restaurant they once owned. In part, he captioned the post,

“My mom and dad in front of their first restaurant. I grew up in this place. I know the risks. I know how stressful it is. I know the success rate. Thank you everybody for your support, kind words, encouragement, and though, it may not seem like it, I also appreciate the concern BUT, pls don’t project your own fears on to me. Let me shoot my shot without you telling me why you’re afraid to shoot yours.”

T-Pain has yet to reveal more details about his latest purchase.
