Rashad previously addressed the alleged sex tape during his performance at Coachella in April. The Top Dawg Entertainment artist opened his set with a prerecorded video that referred to the alleged sex tape after being out of the public eye since the leak online. According to reports, Rashad said during his set:
“I see all the messages and all that sh*t, all the positivity – Y’all n*ggas done kept me alive these last couple months.”
Rashad received some backlash online from music critics. However, leading figures in the entertainment game such as Budden continued to show their support for the controversial artist after the leak.
Following Rashad’s Coachella performance, fans were happy to see him in good spirits and Budden even commended the rapper on his way of handling the situation at Coachella during an episode of his podcast show.
