Cardi B Denies She’s Releasing A New Song Next Week
Sorry Bardigang, but the wait is still ongoing for new music from Cardi!
Rapper Cardi B took to Twitter to immediately stop the rumor of a new song being released next week. She directly responds to the article Page Six wrote about the possible track.
“BARDIGANG I don’t wanna gass y’all and put a battery in y’all back.. so I’m going to be the one to tell y’all what @PageSix wrote is not true..”

The Page Six article said a “music source” told the publication Cardi’s upcoming single was slated to release next week and featured a
“top male artist in the hip hop game.”
They have since updated the article to say her team denied the rumor.
We recently reported that the “WAP” rapper expressed to fans why her sophomore studio album has been taking a while to surface, saying:
“I seen a lot of y’all talking sh*t like, ‘Oh she doesn’t feed us.’ So when I put what I’mma put out, I’mma talk more about it because clearly, I can’t talk about it now. But I really had technical difficulties with my latest project. I had not one, not two, but like three technical difficulties on the music that I’ve been working on that … had to be done and taken care of before I put it out.”
Cardi B has only released minimal singles since her debut album, “Invasion of Privacy,” including her smash hit “WAP” featuring Megan Thee Stallion released in 2020.
“Invasion of Privacy” debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 chart and was certified triple platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).
Her latest feature was an assist to fellow New York rapper Kay Flock on the song “Shake It.”
