Kenan Thompson Officially Files For Divorce From Wife After 11 Years Of Marriage

Kenan Thompson is taking the next steps in his separation from his wife of 11 years.

“SNL” star Kenan Thompson, 44, and his wife, Interior Designer Christina Evangeline, 34, have called it quits after 11 years of marriage. According to reports, Kenan Thompson filed last month in New York to make his split from Christina Evangeline legal. It is said that Kenan and Christina Evangeline have agreed to share 50/50 custody of their two daughters, Georgia and Gianna. Reportedly, they will still be living close to one another in New York to make the custody arrangement easier.

Kenan and Christina got married back in 2011, at an Aquarium in Atlanta. After nearly 15 years of being together, sources have said they just grew apart as the years went on. Professionally they live a different lifestyle. Kenan has always been in the spotlight since his childhood as a star on Nickelodeon and is now the longest-running “SNL” cast member, while Christina works as an interior designer and is reportedly more reserved.

Sources close to them have said that the divorce has been amicable, and they’re both putting their kids first as they continue to be successful co-parents and remain good friends.
