Nick Cannon And His Late Son Zen’s Mother, Alyssa Scott, Unveil Foundation In His Honor + Fans Speculate That Alyssa Is Pregnant

Nick Cannon and his seventh child’s mother Alyssa Scott are channeling their grief to help others.

The Wild N Out creator announced earlier today (June 24th), the he and his late son’s mother are launching a foundation in his memory. As previously reported, multi talented entertainer Nick Cannon shared the news of his son Zen’s passing back in December of last year. Zen transitioned at 5 months after being diagnosed with brain cancer.

Via instagram, Nick shared pictures from the foundations launch event and expressed his excitement for the “Zen’s Light” foundation. As a caption to the post he wrote:

“June 23rd will forever be a day of celebration. A beautiful lighting ceremony to honor the life of an Angel. Zen’s birth has now transformed into “Zen’s Light”. We are proud to announce his new foundation that will help so many others in this world.”

Then continued:

“Zen’s Light” mission is to foster global excellence in hope, grief-care, and pediatric healthcare for families and children in need. Thank you for everyone who joined us at this inaugural event, specifically the Children’s Hospital of Orange County and our other beautiful partners. Can’t wait for next year where our Lighting Gala will continue grow to help find a cure for pediatric Cancer, further research and help console more families during difficult times.”

A couple of months after Zen’s passing, Nick made headlines for announcing his eighth child’s expected arrival with model Bre Tiesi. The Raw & B artist subsequently apologized, after Alyssa expressed sadness over Zen being used for media gain. Nick has often spoke about the respect and love he has for all the mothers of his children, and it seems the feelings is usually mutual.

Following the “Zen’s Light” post going up, fans swarmed to comments section, questioning if Alyssa is pregnant. The model posted a picture of herself holding her bully bump on mother’s day back in May, though it couldn’t be confirmed if the pic was new or old.

Speculations may not be far off, as Nick confirmed earlier this month that he has “a few” children on the way. While speaking with Angela Yee on her podcast Lip Service, the Masked Singer host stated:

“I was supposed to make it to the top of the year…I got depressed with the loss of my son and stuff so in December….everybody saw I was so down so everybody was like ‘imma just give him a little vagina’…I fell victim to it cause I was in a weak state….right before Christmas I started f***ing like crazy”

Additionally, the mother of his twins Zion and Zillion, Abby De La Rosa, announced she was pregnant earlier this year. Leading social media users to believe that she is carrying one of the “few” children Nick is expecting.

However, the comedian has not confirmed any of the mother’s currently carrying his offsprings outside of the son he’s expecting with Bre.
