Martha Stewart Jokes About Wanting Her Friends To Die So She Can Date Their Husbands
Media personality Martha Stewart has her heart eyes set on a few of her married friends husbands.
The business mogul recently joined comedian and talk show host Chelsea Handler on her podcast, where she joked about wanting some of her gal pals with fine men to kick the bucket. Reportedly, Martha Stewart, 80, stated the dating game is so tough now she thinks about her friends dying so she can date their widowed husbands.
Kicking off the conversation, the businesswoman stated:
“I had two mad crushes in the last month, which is really good for me…. But it turns out, you know, one of them is married to the mother of some friends of mine and I just — he’s so attractive.”
The two women continued the discussion, questioning the possibility of Martha being a homewrecker. However, the TV personality vehemently denied ever actually involving herself with a married man, stating:
“I’ve never been a homewrecker. I’ve tried really hard not to be. I’ve had the opportunity to be home wrecker and I have not taken anybody up on it. And that’s really where — that’s where I meet men. They’re all married to friends of mine or something like that,”
Subsequently, Martha joked that she just wish some of her friends, with the really attractive husbands, would just die off, stating:
“Maybe they’ll die…I always think, oh gosh, couldn’t that person just die.”
For clarity, Chelsea proceeded to ask Martha if she was referring to her friends, or “the wives” of the men she wants to date, to which she responded:
“Yeah! Not — not painfully….Just die … But it, it hasn’t worked out.”
