Update: 17-Year-Old & His Stepmom Arrested For Their Involvement w/ PnB Rock’s Murder, Authorities Still Searching For Father Who Allegedly Drove The Getaway Car

Update #2: (Sept. 29): As more information comes out, it seems like the murder of PnB Rock was a family affair.

According to new reports, A woman by the name of Shauntel Trone has also been arrested in connection to the fatal shooting of PnB Rock. Shauntel Trone is said to be the wife of Freddie Trone — the man who allegedly drove the getaway vehicle — and stepmom of the 17-year-old accused of pulling the trigger. Shauntel Trone was arrested and booked for accessory to murder.

Update #1: (Sept. 28): According to reports, the 17-year-old son of Freddie Trone, the man named as “a person involved” in PnB Rock’s murder, has been arrested in connection to the shooting. Allegedly, the teenager was the shooter, and his father, Freddie Trone, drove the getaway car.

Reports claim that the father and son duo were already in the restaurant’s parking lot when the “Luv Me Again” artist arrived. If this is true that would mean that, despite what many may think, PnB Rock’s girlfriend sharing their location on IG played no role in his tragic death.

Original Story (Sept. 28): A suspect has been named in the slaying of Philly rapper PnB Rock.

Wednesday morning (Sept. 28) Los Angeles Police Department released the name of the suspect they are looking for in regards to the fatal shooting of PnB Rock, born Rakim Hasheem Allen. According to reports, authorities have named Freddie Lee Trone as  with the murder of the “Selfish” entertainer. Trone is said to be “armed and dangerous,” as he is still on the loose. Thus far, police have not shared more information on Trone.

Reports claim that authorities may also be searching for more than one suspect, due to the shooter allegedly having an accomplice to help him flee in the getaway car. Police are urging the public to contact 911 if they see Trone or have any info on his whereabouts.

As previously reported, on Monday (Sept. 12) PnB Rock was shot and killed while eating at Roscoe’s House Of Chicken and Waffles restaurant with his girlfriend Stephanie Sibounheuang.

According to Los Angeles police Capt. Kelly Muniz, PnB Rock was shot almost immediately after the suspect demanded he hands over the several gold and diamond chains he was wearing.

PnB Rock’s girlfriend’s last Instagram post before he was fatally shot.

Kelly Muniz said:

“He shot the victim and ran out the side door to a getaway car and then fled the parking lot.”
