Rapper Cam’Ron Shoots His Shot w/Nia Long Amid Ime Udoka Cheating Scandal: I Am The Best Man For You!

Looks like Boston Celtics coach Ime Udoka will have some competition winning back the heart of Nia Long.

Following the coaches’ widely publicized cheating scandal, rap artist Cam’Ron, 46, slid into the DM’s of Nia Long, 51, insisting she should move on with him. As previously reported, Ime Udoka, 45, received a season long suspension for misconduct after having an affair with one of his staff members while dating Long. Though it’s unclear if the actress plans to forgive her longtime beau, she will clearly have options if she decided not to.

In the lengthy message Cam’Ron says he sent to Nia a week ago with no response, he wrote:

“Hey stink. I Was giving you some time to yourself til I reached out. Your perseverance as a strong black woman through this turbulent time has been something to behold. You shouldn’t  be taken advantage of and exploited as you did nothing to deserve this. Especially all over these sports networks. You’re bigger and better then that. You’re a queen, and by the way I’m a king.”

He continued:

“Together we can achieve the greatness we were destine for as a couple. (Une vie a Vivre) that means “we have one life to live” pardon my French lol. As I sit here sipping gazpacho and watching “the best man” I was inspired to reach out, because that’s what I am, the best man for you!! Hope to hear from you soon my Mi- amour or should I say “Ni-amour”

It seems Cam’Ron may be waiting awhile to hear back from The Best Man star. As more details began to emerge about the affair, it was revealed that Udoka had a consensual affair with 34-year-old Kathleen Ninmo-Lynch, a Celtics liaison who’s married to the Celtics SVP of finance. Long later stated that she was blindsided by the entire ordeal.

The celebrity couple began dating as far back as 2010 and have one son together, 11-year-old Kez. Udoka and Long have been in an elongated engagement, with her accepting his proposal back in 2015. Subsequent the affair, Long was spotted out without her engagement ring and laughed when a reporter questioned if the pair would reconcile.

However, Long’s ex Massai Z. Dorsey, who’s father to her 21-year-old son Massai Jr., vouched for Udoka, stating he hopes there is hope for the two yet. During an interview he said:

“All I could say is good things about Ime. He’s a good man. All these years. I’m happy he’s in my son’s life….Every man needs another chance. Like the Bible says, the flesh is weak. He’s not a bad guy. Hopefully, he’s learned from this.”

Neither Nia nor Ime have publicly confirmed the standing of their relationship at this time.
