Rihanna Said To Be Making Her Musical Comeback w/ Two New Songs For ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’ Soundtrack
It looks like Rihanna may have put down the makeup and picked up the microphone for the forthcoming Black Panther sequel.
According to reports, Rihanna has allegedly recorded two new songs for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’s official soundtrack.

Rumors of Rihanna’s connection to the highly-anticipated follow-up to the 2018 Marvel film were sparked in 2020, as fans suspected the Anti singer to be a part of the cast. However, those claims were later debunked by sources close to Rihanna.
While no further information has been revealed about the forthcoming tracks, we do know that Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is slated to release on November 11th. Directed by Ryan Coogler, the superhero flick will capture the leaders of Wakanda’s mission to protect their nation in the wake of King T’Challa’s death.
Queen Ramonda (Angela Bassett), Shuri (Letitia Wright), M’Baku (Winston Duke), Okoye (Danai Gurira), and Nakia (Lupita Nyong’o) are set to return for the continuation. However, sadly, Chadwick Boseman, who portrayed the main character, King T’Challa, passed away in 2020 after a bout with colon cancer.

The news of Rihanna’s participation in the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever soundtrack comes subsequent to talks of the 34-year-old’s ninth album and a 2023 stadium tour being in the works. Last month, it was also announced that she would be headlining next year’s Super Bowl Halftime show.

Insiders have said that the music tied to Black Panther 2 will release via Marvel/Disney and Westbury Road/Roc Nation/Def Jam. If you didn’t know, Westbury Road is a record label owned by the Barbadian songstress herself, which is all more of the reason why features from Rihanna make sense.
But… in the meantime, it looks like we’ll just have to wait and hear.
