Keke Wyatt, Mother Of 11, Reveals That She Wants To Have Another Baby: I Think I’m Gonna Do One More

Keke Wyatt’s baby fever is unmatched.

In a clip from her recent interview on TV One’s Uncensored, the powerhouse singer said that she is interested in having “one more” child.

She shared,

“I think I’m gonna do one more. I love being a mama. If I wasn’t a mommy, I don’t think I would be who I am today. I started my career with a child and I’m still in my career with 11 kids.”

If the former R&B Divas star does decide to add another bundle of joy to the bunch, she will become a mother of twelve. Last summer, she gave birth to her 11^th child Ke’Zyah Jean with her second husband Zackariah Darring.

While fans continue to be surprised by her multiple pregnancy announcements, Keke Wyatt said she has always wanted a big family.

“I always said when I was a little girl, I wanted a lot of children. I used to say ‘mommy, I’m going to have between eight and ten. Well, I’m at 11 so….”

The singer seems content living out her childhood dream, but there has been some pushback. Keke shared critics have always questioned whether she could balance motherhood and the demands of her career. 

“They told me ‘if you have a baby you’re not gonna be able to do what you need to do, travel, and such and such.”

However, the naysayers nor the children have stopped anything personally or professionally. In fact, Keke has had children since she’s been in the business. When she released her first R&B hit with singer Avant in December 2001, she’d given birth one year earlier to her first child Keyver Wyatt Morton.

Keke said her mom’s assurance kept her optimistic,

“My mom looked me in my eyes and said, ‘you can do whatever you want to do with or without a baby.’”
