Keke Palmer Shares How Whoopi Goldberg Changed Her Sex Life: Start w/ Pleasing Yourself
Keke Palmer (real name Lauren Keyana Palmer) no longer puts herself second in the bedroom — and Whoopi Goldberg is part of the reason why.
During a conversation on the latest episode of her podcast, Baby, This Is Keke Palmer, the Nope actress recalled receiving an intimate and important tip while having “a really great conversation” about sex.

Keke Palmer said,
“I’ll never forget, I was on ‘The View’ one time, and they were having a conversation about sex, a really great conversation, and Whoopi Goldberg said, ‘please just – start with pleasing yourself.’ And I was like, ‘That rings true.'”
She noted,
“My identity with sex – it was always based upon, ‘Oh, I just gotta do this service.’ And my enjoyment, any enjoyment that I had at that era, in that point, in that time, came from, ‘I’m glad they’re happy.’ That was, like, depressing and not enough, because I realized, like, ‘Well, wait a d*mn minute … this isn’t you, know what I’m saying?”

In 2016, after the premiere of her music video for her single “I Don’t Belong to You,” Keke Palmer became more vocal about her sexuality. The sensuous video, in which the star is seen in various states of undress and winds up with a woman at the end, generated discussion regarding her sexual orientation.
It was then that Palmer shared she’s “not the traditional woman anymore” and doesn’t conform to how society defines being homosexual, straight, or bisexual. She noted that she set the rules for herself and was not bound by any one label.
Palmer said,
“I don’t feel the need to define nothin’ to nobody, because I’m always changing. Why say that I’m this or that when I might not be tomorrow? I’m gonna follow my own feelings and my own heart.”
Whoopi Goldberg has proven herself to be a big fan of Palmer!
During a conversation about the third installment in the Sister Act franchise, Palmer decided to shoot her shot for a role during an interview on The View, telling Whoopi Goldberg she was down to play any part. She said,
“Now, Whoopi, I gotta shoot my shot like I did with Issa [Rae] a little bit ago. I heard that Tyler Perry is doing Sister Act 3, and I just want you to know I’m available for the job, any job. I mean you don’t have to say anything now. I’ll send you an email or something. Just let me know.”
Goldberg then replied,
“I already brought it up.”

It’s safe to say that Goldberg is changing Palmer’s life in more ways than one.
