T.J. Holmes Joked About Giving His Wife “Plenty Of Reasons, Excuses, And Opportunities” To Leave Him Prior To Alleged Affair With ‘GMA’ Co-Host Amy Robach
The plot only seems to thicken when it comes to the rumored romance between Good Morning America hosts T. J. Holmes and Amy Robach.
As you may know, recently, a series of pictures obtained by Daily Mail captured the co-anchors boo’d up in New York City. They also enjoyed a weekend getaway in Upstate New York a couple of weeks before Thanksgiving.
In one of the now-viral photos, T.J. Holmes is seen grabbing Amy Robach’s bottom as she’s reaching into the trunk of her vehicle, leading most to believe (of course) that this was far from just another friendly, co-worker interaction.
Reportedly, a married T.J. Holmes (Marilee Fiebig Holmes) and Amy Robach (Andrew Shue) separated from their partners over the summer, after allegedly carrying on a months-long affair. According to sources, talks of the two being a little too close for comfort had been going on around the ABC staff, but the producers were shocked to learn about their secret relationship.
Following the reveal, an older post of Holmes paying homage to his now-estranged wife, Marilee Fiebeg Holmes, has circulated on social media.
In the caption, which as uploaded alongside images of the couple, Holmes indicated that he’s put his mate through a lot and was shocked that they’d made it to the ten-year mark in their marriage. This was back in 2020.
He wrote,
“Despite my best efforts, [Marilee] remained married to me the past 10 years. That’s not hyperbole. I’m not being dramatic. I gave her plenty of reasons, excuses, and opportunities to walk her fine a** out the dooooooor. But instead, with her built-in black woman superpower, she showed a grace and patience that’s incomprehensible.”
The on-air journalist continued:
“Asking her for another 10 years would be asking too much. Another 10 months? That may even be a stretch. If she gave me another 10 weeks, I should consider myself lucky. If she puts up with me another 10 days, I’d be grateful. But if she would even spare another 10 minutes of her time for me today, I should consider myself blessed. This is MARILEE FIEBIG HOLMES, y’all.”
Upon the post making its rounds, most have questioned whether or not that was a push for his wife to actually pack it up and leave the pair’s union.
Holmes and Robach have since deleted their online accounts.
Marilee Fiebig Holmes’ Instagram is private. No public word from her as of yet.
