Rap star Wiz Khalifa is stepping into his businessman bag!
According to reports, the 35-year-old musician recently made a marketing endorsement deal with 25 college athletes.

Reportedly Wiz, born Cameron Jibril Thomaz, signed the athletes in order to help promote a recent song released titled “45 Minute Beatdown.” The nearly 4-minute long track is a Taylor Gang record that features Lil Uzi Vert and Wiz himself.
As part of the deal, Wiz’s entertainment company compensated various college athletes to post themselves dancing to the song in their Instagram stories earlier this month. The report noted that the exchange was brokered by the A&P Agency, which has spent significant time dealing in the NIL (name, image, likeness) industry. Speaking on the “first of its kind” deal, A&P Agency co-founder Stefan Aguiler stated:
“Right now in the music industry, there is no better marketing tool to communicate to the college demographic effectively except for our athletes that have a vast following consisting of students and alumni which we have developed over our course of our relationship with our athletes,”
He continued:
“A&P Agency is the optimal choice for the music industry, not just because we represent the best athletes, but because nobody understands the college market better than us speaking in terms of creative marketing.”
It seems Wiz’s most recent business dealing are left field compared to what the musician was dealing with earlier this year. As previously reported, the father of 1 was sued by his former assistant. Allegedly, the “Kush & Orange Juice” artist failed to compensate his former employee for grocery bills and overtime. However, the $60,000 lawsuit was eventually dropped.

Now it seems the rapper has a laser focus on the music. Wiz recently sold out a joint tour with fellow rapper Logic to promote his latest album “The Multiverse” which dropped in July of this year. Additionally, the rap star also had collaborations with Big K.R.I.T., Smoke DZA, Girl Talk, and Juicy J release this year.
