Vivica A. Fox & Claudia Jordan Defend Megan Thee Stallion Against Joe Budden Following His ‘I Don’t Like That Girl’ Remarks & Criticism: Sit Your B*tch *ss Down
The women of Fox Soul’s Cocktail with Queens are standing with Megan Thee Stallion.
Following Joe Budden’s assessment of the “Plan B” rapper, who is presently engaged in legal conflict with Tory Lanez and her ex-BFF Kelsey Nicole, Vivica A. Fox and Claudia Jordan utterly blasted him during a recent episode of their talk series.
Last week, during a discussion of the Tory Lanez trial on the Joe Budden Podcast, the show host made an assertion that he had personally witnessed Megan Thee Stallion doing terrible things to people close to him. This was a stark contrast to Claudia Jordan and Vivica A. Fox’s accounts of the events.
While chatting about his comments, Vivica A. Fox told Joe to sit his “bi*ch a*s down,” and said he is just jealous to see female rappers’ presence and success at an all-time high in the industry he isn’t so popular in. She said,
“If you don’t button it up and sit your b*tch a*s down hating on that girl. Y’all mad ’cause girls right now is ruling rap. It’s just driving y’all crazy that the sisters is just ruling and taking numbers and can tell y’all ’bout y’all self [and] look sexy with it. It’s a new day. But if you want some attention, I think that’s the wrong one to try and get it from, because it’s really coming out, facts are finally coming out after so many years of this trial being long awaited, that she was shot. So, you know, get used to it brother. It’s a new day. Girls are ruling. Sorry Joe Budden.”
Although Claudia Jordan’s approach wasn’t as harsh, she brought up Joe Budden‘s history of alleged domestic abuse and accused him of swindling his former co-hosts Rory and Mal out of their podcast deal. Following Vivica’s remarks, she said,
“If you want to talk about someone doing something bad to someone that you’re friends with, maybe you’re not the person to say that. Because from what I remember, you were the one that have been accused by at least three women of being abusive, one to the point that she had a miscarriage and showed the lost baby in the toilet. I remember hearing lots of stories about you and your abusive ways, allegedly. And the same way you were able to move and get a huge podcast deal and make a lot of money, that you snaked your friends out of a podcast.”
Claudia Jordan added that maybe Joe Budden, of all people, should allow some grace and understand firsthand that maybe not everything you hear in the media is true. She also criticized society for having a double standard when it comes to sex by questioning why Megan’s past sexual behavior had become a major talking point during the trial.
As previously reported, while discussing Megan’s legal battle with Tory Lanez, who allegedly shot her back in 2020, Joe Budden announced that he doesn’t “like that girl.”
He indicated that the shooting trial was (seemingly) not playing out so well in court, noting that he believed the pair’s former friendship wasn’t under genuine pretenses. Joe said,
“This is the clout chaser’s endgame. That’s what this trial is to me. This is clout chaser avengers. He shouldn’t have been f*cking [Megan Thee Stallion].”
Joe continued,
“You ever seen any of the other girls he f*cked? Let’s call a spade a spade, yo. [Tory Lanez] was f*cking Meg Thee Stallion for one reason and one reason only.”
He did make it clear that he wasn’t necessarily siding with Tory, and he truly felt that Megan was, indeed, injured on the night of the shooting.
