Young Thug’s Brother Negotiates Plea Deal In YSL Case, Denies Snitching For Release: ‘Show Me In My Paper Work I Told On Anybody’
Another alleged YSL gang member has landed a plea deal.
According to reports, rapper Unfoonk, who is known as Young Thug’s brother, entered a negotiated guilty plea on Tuesday (Dec. 20) as part of the indictment alleging criminal activities relating to the group YSL. As you may recall, prosecutors claim YSL is not only a record label but also a “violent street gang.”
Reportedly, Unfoonk, real name Quantavious Grier, pleaded guilty to one count of violating the state’s RICO act and one count of theft by receiving stolen property. Due to his deal, Unfoonk’s initial 12-year sentence was split into two years being commuted to time served and the other 10 years on probation.

In addition, he will have to serve 750 hours of community service, maintain a curfew, and can have no contact with Young Thug, born Jeffery Williams, or others involved in the indictment.
Unfoonk is the fifth out of the 28 original defendants to have entered a negotiated guilty plea, according to reports. Rapper Gunna, born Sergio Kitchens, recently made headlines for being released after negotiating his own plea deal. Just like Gunna, Unfoonk wasted no time in letting the world know he did not snitch to be set free. In a post shared online, he wrote:
“[laughing emojis] D*MN PEOPLE REALLY THINK I TOLD ON MY OWN BROTHER SMH, SHOW ME IN MY PAPER WORK I TOLD ON ANYBODY LOL, IM NOT EVEN FENNA ENTERTAIN ANY OF IT, PEACE AND BLESSINGS”

As previously reported, Young Thug and multiple others were arrested in May in a gang indictment that claimed YSL is a violent criminal street gang that has committed multiple murders, shootings, and carjackings over the course of a decade. Earlier this month Young Thug was hit with additional charges while awaiting trial in his RICO case. In addition to his initial RICO (Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations) charges, he’s now facing misdemeanor charges for street racing, reckless driving, speeding, and more.

Young Thug has yet to be released from prison. According to Atlanta-based reporter George Chidi, it’s unlikely that the “Special” rapper will be offered a plea deal because prosecutors view him as “the target of this case.”
