T.J. Holmes & Amy Robach’s Estranged Spouses Texting & ‘Getting Close’ Following ‘GMA3’ Co-Anchors Affair, Sources Say
Support can come from the most unexpected places.
This seems to be the case for the former romantic partners of T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach, who are reportedly comforting each other after being left by their spouses.
According to a report from Radar Online, Holmes’ soon-to-be ex-wife Marilee Fiebig, and Robach’s soon-to-be ex-husband Andrew Shue have been exchanging texts since the “GMA3” anchors affair scandal. Sources say the two have been getting close as of late (claims that come days after the two TV hosts vacationed together for the holidays.)
Explaining how Fiebig and Shue have come to support one another through the public debacle, the source stated:
“They’ve spoken on the phone and have sent each other encouraging texts…Marilee even “liked” a holiday photo of the Melrose Place star with his three sons from his first marriage to floral designer Jennifer Hageney.”
The insider added:
“[Marilee] clearly wants Andrew — and the public — to know she’s on Andrew’s side.”
Recently, Fiebig spoke out for the first time since reportedly being blindsided by her ex’s affair with his coworker. The attorney, who shares a daughter with Holmes, reportedly wrote in a statement:
“We continue to be disappointed by T.J’s lack of discretion, respect and sensitivity toward Marilee and the party’s daughter. Marilee has been touched by the outpouring of support and looks forward to a new beginning in this new year.”
The report also noted that Fiebig is focusing solely on their daughter, and plans to move forward with divorce proceedings privately. Holmes and Robach have certainly not been shy about their relationship since stepping forward. The new couple was photographed in Miami back in December sharing a kiss and walking along the beach together. Sources claim the pair are “in love” and plan to continue to be open about their romance.
While love is beautiful, one can’t neglect the toll the ABC anchors’ affair has had on each of their families. The source reportedly touched on the aftermath of Holmes and Robach’s relationship, stating:
“There are two families destroyed by the affair, but Marilee and Andrew are holding up and leaning on each other,”
