Lebron James Restrained By Officials During Tense Exchange w/ Heckler Joking About His Hairline

Even celebrities are sensitive about certain topics.

For NBA superstar Lebron James, it seems he’s just about done with people’s aggressive tone and hairline jokes.

During a recent game, the 38-year-old athlete nearly confronted a court-side game attendee who began heckling the hooper, throwing in the running hairline joke. James‘ receding hair, which he’s publicly spoken about, has been used to jab at the basketball star many times over the years. While walking to the locker room – being down 77-54 against the L.A, Clippers at halftime – a potentially frustrated Lebron stopped to give the rude man the time of day.

During the incident, the jokester yelled:

“Hey Bron! Hey Bron…You better get this sh*t together! With that receding a** hairline!”

As James stopped and turned his attention toward the man, a nearby official immediately attempted to hold the giant athlete back. The heckler laughed and continued:

“Look, he mad! Look at him! You sick!”

In another angle of the incident, James lightly pushed the official away before opting to leave the escalating situation. It is unclear if the game attendee was allowed to stay or was removed from the arena.

Earlier this week, the iconic NBA player inadvertently found himself involved in another heated altercation during the Lakers’ game against the Grizzlies. While seemingly defending James’ honor, sports personality Shannon Sharpe got into a heated exchange with Memphis Grizzlies players. He later issued a public apology.

The Lakers star reportedly spoke on the incident following Sharpe’s apology, stating:

“I ride with Shannon 365 days — 366 on a leap year — 24/7. So that’s my guy…I always got his back and he’s got mine. He can talk with the best of them, for sure.”
