Kylie Jenner Criticized For ‘Mocking’ Deadly Astroworld Tragedy w/ Birthday Party Decorations For Kids Stormi & Aire

Fans are not her for Kylie Jenner throwing her children an Astroworld-themed birthday party, considering the festival’s deadly history.

The Keeping Up With the Kardashians  alum is being slammed for “mocking” the tragedy with the decorations she used for the combined birthday celebration she hosted for Stormi, 4, and Aire, 1, both of whom she shares with Travis Scott.

Kylie Jenner, 25, displayed many inflatable heads that appeared to be copies of Travis Scott‘s Astroworld album cover in pictures from the party that were uploaded to Instagram Stories on Wednesday. She’s used a similar blow-up tunnel for Stormi‘s prior parties.

Disgusted fans questioned the makeup tycoon’s choice to “not destroy any allusion” to the festival.

As previously reported, 10 people lost their lives during what became Travis Scott‘s final Astroworld festival in 2021, including a nine-year-old boy. In 2022, a Texas court panel approved the consolidation of at least 387 lawsuits against Scott and Live Nation.

While seemingly ignoring the criticism, per usual, Kylie Jenner shared touching tributes to her children on her Instagram page.

In her message to Stormi, Kylie said,

“i gave you the gift of life and life gave me the gift of you. the most special girl. this little face. i will miss it as it keeps changing. 5 years of loving you and forever more to go. i will always be there for you storm girl.”

She followed up with a tribute to Aire on Thursday, saying,

“AIRE. my son, my moon, my stars. best year of my life with you. you complete us my angel. mommy loves you. happy 1st birthday. may God always bless you.”

Kylie gave birth to Stormi in February 2018. She and Scott — who are allegedly no longer together — split the following year but reconciled and welcomed Aire in 2022.
