Britney Spears’ Loved Ones Plan Intervention Following Singer’s Struggle w/ Mental Health & Substance Abuse
Pop icon Britney Spears is seemingly going through a rough time.
Reportedly, multiple sources close to the singer have shared concerns over her recent behavior, claiming the songstress is struggling with mental health and substance abuse issues.
According to reports, Britney Spears, 41, has been “erratic” and “volatile” recently, opting not to take stabilizing medications. Sources have described the industry vet’s behavior as “flying off the handle,” and are so concerned, an intervention was planned in an effort to encourage Spears to seek medical attention. Reportedly, one source who stays in regular contact with the Grammy Award-winning singer stated:
“I’m afraid she’s gonna die.”
Inside sources add that the “Toxic” singer’s manager rented a house for the meeting to take place, where Spears was supposed to spend time getting medical and psychological treatment. Reportedly, her husband Sam Asghari, her manager, an interventionist, and doctors were meant to be present. Neither her sister, Jamie Lynn Spears nor Brittney’s two sons were reportedly involved.
However, the reports claim that Spears caught wind of the gathering, and the entire idea was scrapped. The famed songstress did reportedly agree to meet with a medical professional later, and the encounter reportedly “went well.”
If you recall, just last month, fans urged police to the musician’s home for a wellness check after the singer deleted her social media account. Spears’ fans have proven themselves mighty and deep. In large part, the group greatly aided at the end of Spears 13-year involuntary conservatorship, which controversially saw her father overseeing her money and career.
Since regaining complete freedom, Spears’ internet actions have continually rallied concern from her loved ones and fans. We will continue to keep Britney in our thoughts and prayers!
