Britney Spears Blames Ex-Husband Kevin Federline For Strained Relationship w/ Sons, Insiders Claim
Britney Spears allegedly has not seen her sons in months, a strained relationship she attributes to her ex-husband.
Insiders claim the pop star is blaming Kevin Federline for her sons obstinately refusing her attempts to rekindle their bond. Even so, she is adamant about mending her relationships with Jayden, 16, and Sean, 17, according to RadarOnline.
An insider shared,
“Britney says she must have sent hundreds if not thousands of emotional pleas for her boys to come over and talk things out. That’s what she needs more than anything to feel happy and fully centered again.”
The “Toxic” singer and her current husband, Sam Asghari, recently relocated to a large $12 million mansion in Calabasas, close to where Kevin Federline and his wife Victoria Prince live. However, sources said the close proximity hasn’t helped ease their family tension following the termination of the singer’s 13-year conservatorship.

In January 2023, just weeks before claims that Britney Spears was having problems with her mental health and substance abuse, reports surfaced that she was discreetly selling the property.
The ongoing conflict with her sons, according to insiders, is a source of stress for Britney Spears, who reportedly goes from “sad to mad” over the situation. An insider noted that Asghari promises the boys will eventually come to visit, but they just need more time.

The insider continued, observing how it breaks her heart, claiming that Spears
“gave them everything she had.”
Kevin Federline previously discussed the estrangement and claimed the boys’ desire to stay away from the drama surrounding their mother’s life was so strong that they skipped her wedding. The teenagers are allegedly still struggling with their mother’s social media antics, including her frequent and increasingly candid confessions and skin-baring photos since November 2021.
Spears and Federline, a former backup dancer for Justin Timberlake, started their whirlwind romance in 2004.
The “Oops!..I Did It Again” singer, who was 22 at the time, and Federline, then 26, wed in a secret ceremony in September 2004, in Studio City, California. They welcomed Sean shortly before their one-year wedding anniversary, and Jayden in 2006, the same year Spears filed for divorce.
Jayden previously spoke about his and his mother’s strained relationship in a prior interview.
He said,
“I 100 percent think this can be fixed. It’s just going to take a lot of time and effort. I just want her to get better mentally. When she gets better, I really want to see her again.”
Jayden asserted that there is “no hate,” but acknowledged that it will take time. No matter what, he said, he loves his mother a lot and desires what’s best for her.
He added,
“Maybe one day we can sit down like this and talk again.”
