‘GMA’ Execs Considering Ryan Seacrest As Replacement For T.J. Holmes & Amy Robach

It looks like Good Morning America execs have their eyes set on Ryan Seacrest!

For the past few months, GMA has been dealing with the TJ Holmes & Amy Robach affair scandal. However, it now seems that the show’s execs are ready for a fresh start, with the hopes of having Ryan Seacrest come on board.

An insider said,

“It’s a great fit for Ryan and the perfect fit for GMA, which is looking to restore its family-friendly reputation!”

They continued,

“He [Seacrest] sees GMA as the perfect vehicle for him to be center stage again.”

After announcing his exit from Live With Kelly and Ryan, the American Idol host had plans to move back to Los Angeles but now that is up in the air.

Seacrest had this to say about his departure.

“Working alongside Kelly over the past six years has been a dream job and one of the highlights of my career. She has been an amazing partner, friend, and confidant, and although we will always be a part of each other’s lives, I will miss our mornings together.”

Network insiders said ABC execs recognize Ryan’s star power and have already considered him as a replacement for Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes who were caught in a scandalous affair.

As previously reported, T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach were temporarily suspended from the news program, “GMA 3” following their affair going public. Holmes and Amy Robach began anchoring “GMA3” together almost three years ago and allegedly started their affair in the summer of 2022. However, both anchors have reportedly claimed they were separated from their spouses before they started dating.

Ultimately, after a months-long investigation, ABC decided to part ways with the news anchors.

A company spokesperson said in a statement,

“After several productive conversations with Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes about different options, we all agreed it’s best for everyone that they move on from ABC News. We recognize their talent and commitment over the years and are thankful for their contributions.”

According to an insider ABC is ready to move in a different direction.

“Network bosses are looking at completely retooling GMA3 with a live audience, music and celebrity guests in an effort to play to Ryan’s strengths and wash away the stain of the scandal.”

From the looks of it, we may be seeing Ryan Seacrest on GMA3 sooner than later!
