Relationship Coach Derrick Jaxn’s Estranged Wife Breaks Silence On Their Divorce, Shares Media Personality ‘Crushed’ Her Spirit w/ His Infidelity & ‘Reckless Decision-Making’

It looks like self-proclaimed relationship guru Derrick Jaxn’s estranged wife is ready to share her truth.

It’s been almost three months since relationship guru Derrick Jaxn announced to the world that he would be getting a divorce from his wife Da’naia Jackson and more than a year after he confessed to cheating on her. Da’naia Jackson has been relatively silent since the announcement but it seems that she is now ready to speak out. 

On Tuesday (March 7) morning, she posted an Instagram video of herself lip-synching along to gospel singer Koryn Hawthorne’s “Speak to me.” In addition to the video, Da’naia Jackson wrote a lengthy caption explaining how she’s gotten through the split from Derrick Jaxn, after four years of marriage. She started the caption with,

“When the man you love & have kids with destroys your soul with reckless decision-making, you must CHOOSE be alone with God.

When your heart has been shattered & reshaped into something that doesn’t quite feel normal inside your chest, with mental, emotional, & soul pain that is unbearable, there is only ONE MAN who can fix it, & that is the HOLY SPIRIT.

When you are suffering so much that each next breath seems excruciating, & you don’t know how you can live without that man while at the same time being angry with that man because he has crushed your spirit due to his unconscious (penis).

She went on to discuss how one can make an “idol” of their partner by trying to save the relationship despite their adulterous behavior. She then wrote, 

“One thing God “hates” more than divorce is a woman with a destroyed soul idolizing a man who does not have the power to destroy her soul and body in hell fire (Matt 10:28).”

She went on to talk about how to heal and said,

“Healing is a two-way street where YOU must EXCHANGE your brokenness, hurt, pain, and trauma FOR healing provided by HIS STRIPES.”

She added,

“public mockery, scrutiny, scandal, betrayal, and dishonor” by “surrendering to the Lord.”

Derrick Jaxn was first outed by blogger Tasha K in 2021 for having an inappropriate relationship with a Florida woman named Candice De Medeiros. Less than a week later, Derrick came forward on Instagram, hand-in-hand with his wife, to confess that he did cheat on her. 

It seemed the two were going to work out their marriage until December of last year when once again Tasha K brought Derrick’s infidelities to light. She shared a photo of the speaker out with a mystery woman in Miami for Art Basel Week. 

A day after Tasha K’s video was put up, Derrick took to his own social media platform to share a photo of him holding Da’naia and writing a lengthy post about their split. He said, 

“Earlier this year after much prayer, counseling, and deep consideration, we decided to go our separate ways and filed for divorce.”

The estranged pair share two children together.
