Jamaican Dancehall Artist Spice Is Pregnant!

Congratulations are in order for singer/songwriter Spice.

The 40-year-old Jamaican musician glowed in pregnancy pics posted to her instagram account earlier today (March 14th), revealing she’s expecting her third child!

Spice, real name Grace Latoya Hamilton, shared the image of her cradling a noticeable baby bump and posing with a baby stroller while rocking her signature all blue look. The “Different Category” singer captioned the post – which has received an outpour of love from celebs, including famed rap star Nicki Minaj, writing:

“God has been so good to me.”

Additional comments congratulating the soon-to-be mother of three included the official “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta” page as well as several cast members from the show, such as Amara La Negra and Tammy Rivera. Spice appeared on the VH1 series during its sixth season and was brought on as a full-time cast member shortly after. However, the Grammy Award-nominated Reggae artist reportedly took a step back from the show after dealing with health concerns.

Back in November of last year, Spice addressed her absence, explaining she was dealing with a damaged hernia. The musician disputed rumors that she had suffered a heart attack and went into a coma due to complications from a BBL surgery. She wrote in a the post:

“Thank you Jesus for saving my life. Hey Besties I’m in a better space today to properly update you on my current health situation.
I suffered a damage hernia a few days ago that sent my body into sepsis, as a result I was rushed to the hospital for immediate surgery. As you know I’ve been off Social Media for a while to rest mentally, so little did I know that during my medical scare it was already been said that I had a heart attack, I was in a Coma , and I also died ?????but none of that is true. However I’m still recovering from what really happened so thanks so much for all the prayers and concerns, please take great care of yourself, eat, live, love laugh, like it’s your last day, I LOVE YOU ALL SO SO MUCH 
and yuh dun know Gracie always ago be harself,so I guess this is no more Jumping off a speaker Boxes for me …….. To all the promoters that has a confirmed booking with me please accept my humble apology.

Spice shares her eldest two children with ex-fiancé Nicholas Lall, the two split in 2016. The singer reportedly began dating cinematographer Justin Budd more recently, but it’s reported their relationship ended sometime last year. It’s unclear at this time if Budd is the father of Spice’s unborn child. Either way, congratulations again!
