Coco Jones Seemingly Throws Her Name Into The Race For a Role In The Rumored Upcoming “The Princess & The Frog” Live-Action Film
It looks like Coco Jones has her eyes set on landing a role in the rumored “The Princess & The Frog” live-action film.
On Wednesday (Mar. 22) singer/actress Coco Jones shared a video of her singing the lyrics to the film’s song “Almost There.” The 25-year-old artist posted a clip of herself on social media singing the track while cooking eggs.

With her impressive vocals it was only natural that Coco Jones received a warm welcome on social media. Fans were blown away the “Bel-Air” stars rendition of “Almost There.”

Coco Jones isn’t the only one eyeing the role of Princess Tiana. On Monday (Mar. 20) soul singer Ari Lennox took to Instagram to share a video of her (unofficial) audition for the starring role in Disney’s rumored live-action remake of “The Princess and The Frog.”
The 31-year-old artist sang Anika Noni Rose’s “Almost There” to audition for a spot in the speculated film.
She captioned her post,

“The Princess and the Frog” is an animated musical romantic comedy that focuses on the life of a waitress named Tiana who has dreams of owning her own restaurant. Unfortunately, after kissing a prince who has been turned into a frog by an evil witch doctor, Tiana becomes a frog herself and must find a way to turn back into a human before it is too late.
