Chloe Bailey — Twitter Users React To Singer’s Low Album Sales & Debuting At #119 On Billboard 200 Chart: ‘It Seemed Rush, I Didn’t Like It’
It looks like the internet has a lot to say about Chloe Bailley’s recent album sales.
The R&B star recently unveiled her In Pieces album last month and it looks like it didn’t do as well as she may have hoped. Despite an impressive rollout, Chloe Bailey‘s In Pieces sold just 10K copies in its first week, charting at #119 on the weekly Billboard 200.

Since then, fans and social media users have had a lot to say.
While Chloe received a lot of love and support from her fans, she also received some criticism from naysayers. One user wrote:
“In Pieces really was a brilliant debut album. I hope you’re proud of yourself because you really should be.”

Another fan praised the album:
“In Pieces has been on replay since it dropped. It’s emotionally raw and vulnerable, and the production is INSANE. It’s telling a tragic love story, and I’m here for it!”
Elsewhere, some users critiqued the project,
“It seemed rushed, I didn’t like it.”
Another person critiqued the singer’s fanbase.
“If her fanbase wouldn’t compare her to artists 30x bigger than her and actually bought her music this wouldn’t have happened.”

In Pieces is the debut solo studio album by Chloe Bailey. It was released through Parkwood Entertainment and Columbia Records on March 31, 2023. The 14-track album includes features from some A-list names like Missy Elliot, Chris Brown, and Future.
Despite the criticism, Chloe Bailey seems unbothered by her naysayers. She recently tweeted about the purpose of the album and announced she’s preparing for her tour.
She wrote:
“in pieces was about letting go & trusting myself. i’ve enjoyed every moment of it and i love everyone who listened to it. tour starts tomorrow in chicago and im so ready to perform these songs for yall”
