Lil Baby — Mother of Rapper’s Oldest Son Says She Would Never Go Back To Him: ‘When I Dream About My Knight In Shining Armor, It’s Not Him’
Lil Baby and the mother of his oldest son are strictly co-parents, and she plans to keep it that way.
During an interview on the Dear Future Husband podcast with Belinda D Sanders, Ayesha Howard shared that the My Turn rapper (real name Dominique Jones) is not her knight in shining armor, which is what prevents her from wanting to be with him again. Howard said,
“I never dream about going back there. When I dream about my knight in shining armor, it’s not him. It’s not like ‘oh, he’s going to come and save the day.’ I think I’m beyond that. Which is probably a big reason why I’m able to be mature about certain situations. ‘Cause when you still have a certain attachment and certain feelings, [pettiness] comes with it.”
She continued,
“But to be honest, it’s hard to go from sleeping with someone and loving somebody a certain way and to one day you decide [to stop.] Especially when you cut it off cold turkey.”
Howard — who is known on social media as Little Ms. Golden — is the mother of Lil Baby‘s oldest son, Jason, 8. The Grammy Award-winning rapper also shares a four-year-old son, Loyal, with popular influencer Jayda Cheaves.
As previously reported, Howard shared that her failed relationship with Lil Baby left her unable to open up and display her love or affection when dating other men. At the time, she took to Twitter and said:
“My Babydaddy f*cked me up, he’s the reason I don’t tap in emotionally when I deal with men.. I never want to feel that type pain and betrayal again so I’ve shut down on everybody even people who probably really love me.”
She continued:
“I’m literally losing my favorite n*gga cause he said I’m not affectionate… I’m just trying to protect my heart tho.”
Howard‘s comments were met with critics who suggested she was not over Lil Baby and was still in love with him. A few hours later, she clarified that while she’s not in love with him, she is “still waiting to exhale.”
Howard added,
“You don’t have to still be in love with someone to still suffer emotional scars and trauma from the experience!”
