Diddy Trends Following Met Gala Interview Where He Seemingly Became Uncomfortable While Speaking On His Relationship Status w/ Yung Miami: ‘We Don’t Put Titles On It’

Will we ever get a direct answer about Diddy and Yung Miami’s relationship status?

As per tradition, the Met Gala is held annually on the first Monday of May. During the prestigious event, celebrities and well-known public figures walk the carpet while wearing unique outfits styled by famed designers. For this year’s Met Gala — which took place last night (May 1) — Diddy, 53, arrived with rap star Yung Miami, 29, as his date, which made many people wonder (once again) if they are in a relationship or not.

Thankfully La La, 40, who was tasked with interviewing fellow celebrities throughout the night, did fans a favor and asked Diddy the question everyone wanted to know:

“Do y’all officially go together real bad?”

After initially being thrown off by the question, Diddy brought Yung Miami into the conversation and said:

“She gon’ answer that.”

However, he eventually stopped dodging the relationship topic and shared:

“I mean of course. Real bad. We here.”

At this point, it’s safe to say that no one really knows what’s going on between Yung Miami and Diddy except Yung Miami and Diddy. As previously reported, last month Miami — real name Caresha Brownlee —  revealed that Diddy — real name Sean Combs — was no longer her man. She explained:

“We were f*cking with each other hard. We were together every day at one point. He supported me, I supported him. I’ll let the internet call it whatever they want to call it.”

Diddy may agree with Miami about letting the internet call their relationship what they want. During his interview with La La, he shared that they’re in no rush to label where they stand. After Miami expressed:

“It’s just a good date night.” 

Diddy added:

“We don’t put titles on it. Everybody wants us to put a title on it.”

He then said:

“This is like, my best friend in the world. One of the most beautiful people God has blessed me to meet and I’m blessed that she’s my date tonight.”

As expected, it didn’t take long for Diddy to trend on Twitter as people reacted to his answer and the fact that he was profusely sweating during his chat with La La.

The City Girls rapper has been a main character in Diddy’s love life for almost a year. Last June they went public with their non-exclusive relationship during Miami’s debut episode of her “Caresha Please” podcast series. Many thought Miami would be done with Diddy after news broke in October that he welcomed a child with another woman. However, Miami eventually revealed that she knew about the baby before the rest of the world found out.
