Jonathan Majors — Disney Reportedly Preparing To Recast Actor In The Marvel Cinematic Universe Due To His Ongoing Legal Issues
Will Jonathan Majors remain in the Marvel Cinematic Universe?
As the once-beloved actor continues to battle a series of legal issues stemming from allegations of domestic violence, Disney reportedly “has already started preparations” to recast him as Kang the Conqueror in the MCU — if necessary.
For the time being, Jonathan Majors will reportedly continue to play Kang and all of his variations in the upcoming second season of Loki. However, insiders claim that should things get worse, Disney won’t hesitate to move on without the “Devotion” actor.

As previously reported, Jonathan Majors is facing three counts of third-degree assault, three counts of third-degree attempted assault, two counts of second-degree harassment and second-degree aggravated harassment following accusations that he physically abused his now ex-girlfriend.
Police claim he struck “[the victim] about the face with an open hand, causing substantial pain and a laceration behind her ear.”
He also allegedly grabbed her hand and neck, which resulted in bruising and more pain.
Majors reportedly phoned 911 on his own during the incident “over concerns about his girlfriend,” with whom he shared a penthouse flat in the Chelsea district. According to initial reports, the woman informed police that the Lovecraft Country star physically assaulted her when they were in a taxi together after leaving a pub. Police discovered marks on the woman, leading to Majors‘ arrest.
Majors‘ criminal defense attorney previously asserted that the actor is “probably innocent” and anticipates charges to be withdrawn due to written retractions from the victim, followed by a later assertion that there is video evidence.

Majors‘ lawyer issued a statement in which he referred to the accusations and stories as “a witch hunt” and vowed to clear his client’s name.
