Seems like Wendy Williams and her son are going through a rough patch.
Recent reports state that the 22-year-old, named after his father Kevin Hunter, refuses to visit his mother after facing serious legal implications the last time they were together.

Kevin Hunter Jr. reportedly found himself facing potential jail time after taking his famous mom on a road trip to Florida last year. The trip was reportedly inspired by the college student wanting to give Wendy Williams, 58, time to heal mentally. As we’ve extensively covered, the former talk show host has battled serious health problems over the last year, coupled with the burden of a growing alcohol addiction. All this, on top of her famed daytime talk show “The Wendy Williams Show”, coming to an end after more than a decade on air.

During the trip Kevin says he got word from Judge Lisa Sokoloff, who presides over Williams‘ guardianship case, ordering him to return the media mogul back to New York. He reportedly recounted the moment, stating:
“The judge threatened me with arrest and said I’d be held in contempt if I didn’t bring her back to New York.”
Adding:
“I’m so scared that I haven’t really been up there to see her since the courts…When they hear I’m coming to visit, they try to change things up, like they have to prepare for me,”
As we’ve previously covered, Kevin has expressed concerned for his mother’s well being for some time. Earlier this month, the celebrity kid slammed her management team, claiming they prioritize her job over her health. Kevin additionally accused Sabrina Morrissey, who was appointed by the court to handle Williams’ finances and affairs, of mishandling the entertainer’s money. Wendy’s manager Will Selby spoke publicly shortly after, refuting all of Kevin’s claims.

Despite his concerns, the report notes Kevin is momentarily powerless against the court judge. He reportedly ended his recent interview somberly stating:
“If there was a way that I could help that wouldn’t end up [with me] being arrested, I would be doing that,”
